Janelle is the Managing Partner of Barnes Home Loans and oversees all the departments at Barnes, from Lending, Administration, Discharges, IT and Post Settlement as well as branding, marketing and introducer relationships. She started her career some 20 years ago in Commercial Lending. Janelle has worked with most of the funding programs in the marketplace.

Janelle's philosophy for Barnes Mortgage Management is to provide competitive products with exceptional service standards .

She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Queensland University and a Diploma of Mortgage Lending from the Securities Institute of Australia. Janelle has been awarded an Associate from the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia.

Janelle has a Designated Lending Authority of $2 million through the Adelaide Bank Mortgage Management Program.

Christopher has over 30 years experience in the finance industry starting as a mortgage broker in Sydney in 1978. In 1983 he moved to Queensland to establish the financial services division for Nevitts Limited, (now Macquarie Financial Services). In 1986 he opened the Brisbane office of Security Pacific Merchant Bank which he managed for 5 years. Since 1991 he has worked in senior management positions for two other Mortgage Managers until establishing Barnes Home Loans Pty Ltd with his partner, Janelle, in 1993.

Christopher\'s experience over the last 20 years has specifically been in mortgage origination/management and he has worked with most of the funding programs in the marketplace which include both residential and commercial facilities.

Christopher retired after 14 years of active service with the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA). He was Queensland State President for 6 years, Queensland Vice President for 2 years, a Director and member of the National Council for 8 years and a Queensland Councillor for 4 years. He has been awarded the Fellow of the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia Qualification, in recognition of this qualification, experience and his contribution to the industry. He has also been awarded Life Membership of the MFAA.
